About Cleveland Leadership Center Alumni

Involvement in the Cleveland Leadership Center doesn’t end when participants graduate.

The Cleveland Leadership Center has talented, intergenerational alumni who make up a powerful force in our region. Leaders who graduate from our programs, whether it be high school leaders in Look Up To Cleveland or company CEOs in Leadership Cleveland, all share one thing: a commitment to creating positive change in our region.

To harness our graduates’ expertise, passion, and enthusiasm, the Cleveland Leadership Center keeps them engaged with the community and with one another through meaningful alumni programs. These programs range in nature from continuing civic education, to opportunities to engage in civic issues, to ongoing networking opportunities.

Eric Wobser

Special Projects Manager
City of Cleveland

Eric is an alum of the Cleveland Executive Fellowship program (Class of 2006). He joined the City of Cleveland in 2006 after spending a year as a Cleveland Executive Fellow. As Special Projects Manager Eric reports to Mayor Jackson’s Chief of Staff, Ken Silliman, and has responsibility for managing projects and programs across the city’s more than twenty departments, commissions and boards. From overseeing the five year capital improvement planning process to working on the Towpath bike trail initiative, Eric has diverse and challenging responsibilities to tackle every day as well as exposure to virtually every aspect of the City of Cleveland’s operations. When asked how his experience as a Cleveland Executive Fellow helped him in his current role, Eric responded, “As a Cleveland Executive Fellow I received a hands-on introduction to how each sector within the city works together; this experience has proved to be invaluable as I collaborate on a daily basis with both non-profit organizations and private entities to get things accomplished.” Outside of work, Eric is involved with the Greater Cleveland Film Commission and is Vice Chairman of the City Club New Leaders. He holds his bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and a law degree from the University of Michigan.
