CLC - Successful Merger; Catalyst for Change

In July 2006, four premiere civic leadership development organizations merged to form Cleveland Leadership Center.  Initial programs were Leadership ClevelandCleveland Bridge BuildersLook Up To Cleveland and (i)Cleveland.

In May 2007, a fifth program - Cleveland Executive Fellowship - was included.  This was an opportunity to magnify community impact with a comprehensive, intergenerational leadership organization. In 2009, the Cleveland Leadership Center added Civic Leadership Institute - a condensed, fast-paced civic education series.

In 2011, Summer Leadership Academy was piloted and added to expand Look Up To Cleveland into the summer.  The CLC current pilot program is a Civic Engagement Boot Camp, a one day immersion program that gets people thinking about Cleveland and civic engagement in new ways.

In 2013, Cleveland Leadership Center deploys five flagship programs, CLC Alumni Association, engagement events and activities to provide a unique interconnected, intergenerational combination of leadership development, civic education, civic engagement, and networking.
