The mission of the Cleveland Leadership Center is to build a continuum of civic leaders committed to our community’s excellence by serving as a catalyst for civic engagement.
Over the past 6 years, Cleveland Leadership Center has become a one-of-a kind regional community resource providing education, connections, and civic engagement opportunities for leaders of all ages and experience levels. While every year five outstanding, interconnected flagship programs engage over 400 committed citizens in the economic, social, and political context of our region, CLC's umbrella of civic engagement stretches to include:
- ALUMNI: The CLC Alumni Association, now over 4,000 alumni strong, continues the work as an umbrella for continuous civic engagement of past participants. The association is also an advocate for it's members, working for activities and evetns that benefit members and community. The PARTNER Job Bank is one such effort.
- PUBLIC: Partnerships like Cleveland Connects are collaborative efforts. When organizations pool resources with a common community goal, the public can
- NONPROFIT LEADERS: Alumni Nonprofit Leaders Circle is driven by alumni. CLC is the convener.
- COMMUNITY: Leadership Action Projects or LAPs connect Cleveland Bridge Builders and community organizations so that citizens and organizations can learn from each other. Both come out ahead.
