Two year grant funded position with joint responsibility to Cleveland Leadership Center and Cleveland Metropolitan School District.  Point person to implement, coordinate and champion 3 initiatives identified by 2013 LC2 Fellows and CMSD CEO Eric Gordon: middle school mentoring (Mentor Me Now); Help Desk/Loaned Executive program; and implementation of corporate “adopt-a-school” program. Mentor Me Now
Great training session for mentors yesterday - lots of excitement generated by creating a meaningful partnership with Robert Jamison school and a doable time commitment of 4 hours a month. In partnership with Cleveland Public Library, CLC is proud to present Dr. Allen J. Proctor in a special workshop for nonprofit board leaders, nonprofit leaders and funders. Dr. Proctor, author of Linking Mission to Money, has 30 years of experience evaluating the financial health of organizations, developing effective business strategies, and enhancing organizational effectiveness. Workshops are:
o 8AM to 10AM: Tools to keep boards strategically focused for board leaders
o 11AM to 1PM: Defining a successful nonprofit for nonprofit leaders
o 2PM to 4PM: Making donations helpful for funders
