CLC Leadership Council
Application Deadline: Friday, March 31, 2017.
The CLC Leadership Council is an advisory group which engages CLC alumni in activities that support the mission of CLC and builds its capacity to engage the community. The Council offers professional and leadership skill development that positions members for future civic engagement.
Membership is open to all CLC Alumni and current class members. Review the current Leadership Council Roster.
The Council is limited to 25 members, who agree to a Statement of Expectations.
Leadership Council members are expected to pay annual dues of $500 (for profit) or $200 (nonprofit).
Incoming members will begin their service term July 1, 2017, for a two-year service.
What can Council members expect?
Your experience will help you ...
... assist in the leadership development of the next generation by working with the Look Up To Cleveland and (i)Cleveland programs on recruitment, job shadowing and mentoring.
... cultivate community awareness about CLC to support its recruitment, fundraising efforts and mission.
... learn about and shape Cleveland's civic community through programs and interactive dialogue with leaders.
... develop leadership, civic engagement and nonprofit skills through formal and informal learning opportunities in such areas as finance, fund-raising, nonprofit operations and civic education.
... build meaningful relationships through networking with CLC Board Members, Alumni, staff and other stakeholders who are passionate about making an impact in Northeast Ohio.
