Help attract and retain the next generation of leaders by serving as job shadow host or by giving your time as a mentor for college students interning during the summer or participating in service weeks during school breaks.
Why serve as a mentor?
As a young professional, you know how much Cleveland has to offer college students after graduation. Help share the vast live, work, play, and involvement opportunities our region has to offer.
Share this knowledge and help build our region’s pipeline of leaders by connecting students participating in the Campus Cleveland Summer and Service Breaks programs to Greater Cleveland’s vast cultural, community, and leadership resources.
Share your work experience with a group of college students:
- Through a job shadow lunch to help connect them to different fields in our region.
- Spend time connecting students with other professionals and organizations to help them launch their careers in Cleveland after graduation.
- Introduce them to vast living, recreational and civic options and assets in Cleveland.
These program provides college-age students with an expansive view of the region’s resources and immerses them in the professional and civic arenas. Campus Cleveland mentors help deepen and broaden that experience.
