Hot Talks – Sanctuary and Deportation

December 12 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association will host its next Hot Talks program on Sanctuary and Deportation: Navigating the turbulent waters of politics, law and faith.

Leading our conversation will be Rev. John Lentz, pastor of Forest Hill Presbyterian Church in Cleveland Heights, and Michael Sangiacomo, reporter at The Plain Dealer. Together, they will shed light on this polarizing issue and help us all better understand the issue at hand through their own education gained through personal experiences and research. The program will be moderated by Jennifer Keirn, director of communications at Kohrman Jackson & Krantz and a long-time board member of The Press Club of Cleveland.

After brief opening remarks, the conversation will be open for a question and answer period. Bring your questions, your views, your criticisms – whatever you’ve got – and come meet us at the bar for Hot Talks on December 12 at noon. No need to RSVP. This is a brown bag lunch event.

If you have any questions, please contact the CMBA at (216) 696-3525.
