Good Afternoon,

Our team at the Center for Health Resilience wanted to check in and see how you and your team are doing? This is a challenging season for many, and we want you to know that we are here to support you and your team.

Exceptional times call for deliberate and intentional connection. Because of this, we have developed Resilience Circles. These are free, virtual spaces designed to offer opportunities for connection and restoration for health care systems and community-based organizations during COVID-19.

The framework for Resilience Circles was developed by the Center for Health Resilience resident Resilience Educator and Licensed Social Worker, Katie Kurtz, MSSA, LISW-S; adapting her personally-founded, connection-centered approach — the Her Turn MethodTM — to answer the call for essential workers and healthcare providers during this unprecedented time.

Who Is It For?

Resiliency Circles are open to all health care workers, essential workers, community-based organizations, leaders, teams. We recommend an ideal size for each circle to hold no more than 15 people-more if time allows. We are happy to schedule a Resilience Circle specifically for your team, however the option is also available for anyone to register on their own as an individual.

Where Are They Held?

Resilience Circles take place on secure Zoom call with audio and video (preferred) options, which can be accessed by a designated link given prior to the event.

What Can I Expect?

Resilience Circles can be adapted to any time frame from 20-60 minutes. The facilitator is a trained resilience coach with the Center for Health Resilience, experienced in coaching and facilitating groups of this kind. Willing participants are asked to join with an open mind and to check judgment of self and others at the proverbial door.

The past weeks have been far from what any of us would call normal. We invite you to consider attending one of our Resilience Circles. They are a dedicate time to take a pause, reflect and share the thoughts and feelings that may otherwise be challenging to navigate right now.

Please share this opportunity with others whom you think may benefit from this source of support.
