Session 1 (Morning Keynote) – How to Make Hard Decisions

How can you best navigate challenges and overcome the obstacles that present themselves throughout your personal and professional journey? Shelley Roth, President of Pierre’s Ice Cream Company, will shed light on how to build confidence in yourself and make strong decisions in the face of tough choices, so you can avoid the costs of indecision and never again fear making the wrong choice.

Session 2 – Shattered Glass: Rising to the Top in a Male-Dominated Industry

If following your passion leads you to an organization with few or no women in leadership roles, how do you break into the industry? You want to be heard, you want to prove yourself, and you want to make an impact. How do you overcome feelings of doubt, imposter syndrome, or intimidation? Prepare to be inspired by our panel of trailblazing women who’ve made names for themselves in predominantly male fields as they talk about building confidence in yourself and finding your voice.

Session 3: What Do Women Really Really Want?: Work Life Balance or Is It Work Life Integration?

The past year may have you feeling anxious, overworked and burned out. Dr. Linda Bradley will share how to embrace the imbalance and be okay with imperfection, discuss the consequences of overwork, and explain the concepts of “seasons” of your life. Dr. Bradley will also discuss the implications COVID-19 and vaccination has on work and life, so you can be ready for what’s next. Because the break you give yourself might be the only break you get.

Session 4 (Lunch Keynote): Speaking Power Over Your Career: Intentionally Navigating Your Career Path

You have big dreams of rising through the ranks and making it to the C-suite. How can the work you’re doing in your current role prepare you for future success? Ramona Hood, President and CEO of FedEx Custom Critical intentionally navigated her career from an entry-level employee all the way to president and CEO. Ramona will share tips on what you can do right now to intentionally navigate your own career.

Session 5: Making It: Cleveland Women in Entrepreneurship

Have you ever thought about starting your own business? Maybe you see a void that you know you can fill. Or maybe you’re ready to take a leap of faith and turn your side hustle into a full-time gig. Hear from three local entrepreneurs about the challenges and successes of running their businesses, what it takes to feed their passion, and why Cleveland is a special place to be a female entrepreneur. You’ll learn what it’s really like to work for yourself, tips for overcoming unexpected obstacles, and advice for getting started, staying inspired, and remaining motivated before ‘making it’.
