Announcing the Cleveland Bridge Builders Class of 2026

Mid-career professionals selected to strengthen community leadership through hands-on civic engagement

CLEVELAND, OH, July 16, 2025 — The Cleveland Leadership Center (CLC) announces the Cleveland Bridge Builders (CBB) Class of 2026, a dynamic group of mid-career professionals chosen for their leadership potential, civic commitment, and passion for creating meaningful change across Greater Cleveland.

Cleveland Bridge Builders serves as a launch pad for professionals seeking to deepen their community impact. Through experiential learning, civic projects, and cross-sector collaboration, the program equips participants with the tools, insights, and networks to lead effectively in their organizations and throughout the region.

“Bridge Builders empowers individuals to move from interest to impact,” said Becky Ruppert McMahon, President and CEO of the Cleveland Leadership Center. “This year’s class brings incredible energy, insight, and dedication to the program. They represent the future of civic leadership in our region.”

Beginning in September, the 10-month program includes monthly daylong sessions, site visits, and team-based projects that address pressing community challenges. Participants enhance their communication and collaboration skills, strengthen civic literacy, and form meaningful relationships with classmates who share a drive for positive change.

Participants are selected through a rigorous application process based on their professional expertise, leadership trajectory, and commitment to civic engagement. The Class of 2026 reflects a wide range of industries, sectors, and lived experiences, enriching the program and its community impact.

“CBB provides the time and space for mid-career professionals to reflect on their values, grow their leadership, and connect with others who care deeply about Cleveland’s future,” said McMahon. “Graduates leave the program inspired and equipped to lead change with greater confidence and clarity.”

The program concludes in June 2026, and participants will join a growing network of more than 11,000 Cleveland Leadership Center alumni who are advancing progress across Northeast Ohio.

Applications for the Cleveland Bridge Builders Class of 2027 will open on February 1, 2026. For more information, visit www.cleveleads.org/CBB.
