Fresh Fest Cleveland is back for another incredible year, bringing together music, art, urban agriculture, and cultural unity! Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 1pm–9pm, as we celebrate with a day full of electrifying performances, immersive art installations, health and wellness activities, a farmer’s market, chef tastings, local vendors, hands-on workshops, and a kids’ zone packed with family fun.
New this year, Fresh Fest Cleveland will also feature line dancing, yoga, and more, offering even more ways for attendees to move, connect, and recharge throughout the day.
Fresh Fest Cleveland 2025 is thrilled to announce MC Lyte as this year’s headliner! A true pioneer in hip-hop, MC Lyte has blazed a trail for women in the industry, with a career spanning over three decades. She was the first female rapper to be nominated for a Grammy Award and has received numerous honors, including BET’s I Am Hip Hop Award and the Black Music Collective’s esteemed recognition.
MC Lyte has performed on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the White House. She continues to shape the industry as a performer, advocate, and cultural leader, currently serving on the Kennedy Center’s Hip Hop Culture Council. In partnership with the Center, she also produces the annual I AM WOMAN event, which celebrates the role of women in hip-hop.
Joining her will be a stellar lineup, including DJ Black Unicorn, Sadhu, Armand Rashad, Nuke Franklin, OG Vern, Esther Fitz, Lillian Ruffin, and Kamakazi Kenji.
