Tom Tyrrell (ALI 2020, LC 1988) was recently recognized as BVU’s 2025 recipient of the Richard W. Pogue Civic Leadership Award, which recognizes those individuals who, through their volunteer efforts, demonstrate extraordinary leadership and commitment, significantly impacting Northeast Ohio’s nonprofit sector. As BVU stated, Tom is civic leadership and impact personified, having served on more than 30 nonprofit and higher education boards across 60+ years of service.
