Mike Obertacz to lead Near West Theatre

Mike Obertacz (CLI 2017) will take over as the new Managing Director of Near West Theatre on October 11. He begins his tenure as the theater embarks on its 40th year and looks to kick off an endowment campaign. He takes over from founder Stephanie Morrison Hrbek (LC 2001). Morrison Hrbek will work alongside Obertacz on the endowment campaign.
