Lexi Robinson

Senior Director of Content & Managing Editor, Destination CLE

For more than a decade, Lexi Robinson has worked for Destination Cleveland, the non-profit destination marketing and management organization for Cuyahoga County. Throughout her career as an unapologetic promoter of Cleveland, she’s worn many hats and served in a variety of capacities to drive tourism and economic impact to Cleveland. Her work has been instrumental in the support of large-scale citywide initiatives, destination branding and events like the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, 2016 Republican National Convention, 2019 MLB All-Star Game, 2021 NFL Draft, the 2022 NBA All-Star Weekend and the 2024 Women’s Final Four.

Lexi oversees the team responsible for producing Destination Cleveland’s owned content in print, digital, social, video and multimedia forms. In her role as managing editor, she directs the organization’s editorial coverage and creative production. She also hosts the organization’s “Legends of The Land” podcast.

Lexi is a writer at heart who savors the opportunity to spread the gospel of CLE through engaging, original storytelling across a variety of mediums.

Lexi is a 2003 graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in journalism.

Throughout her more than 20-year career, Lexi’s handled media relations, marketing and strategic content work for several entertainment venues and special events (Cedar Point, Geauga Lake, Akron Civic Theater, National Buffalo Wing Festival); travel & tourism organizations (Visit Charlotte, Greensboro CVB, Positively Cleveland); publishing entities (Citiview Publications; authors Regina Brett, Barb Brown, Margie Flynn); multiple public relations agencies, including her own; and other non-profits, civic groups and educational institutions (Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, Cleveland Plus Marketing Alliance, John Carroll University).

Lexi resides in Broadview Heights, Ohio with her daughters Amelia and Annabelle.
