Erica Merritt

Erica Merritt (she/her) is a leadership coach and organizational development strategist with over 20 years of experience guiding individuals and organizations through growth, transition, and culture change. She is the Founder and President of Equius Group, a consulting firm that advances organizations, communities, and human flourishing through systems change, capacity building, and cultural transformation. She also serves as the Joy Architect behind The Sweet Life Collective, a lifestyle brand and emerging movement helping people design lives rooted in intention, joy, and resilience.

At Equius, Erica partners with mission-driven organizations to strengthen leadership, build capacity, and create workplaces and communities where all people can thrive. Her facilitation style is known for creating brave, imaginative spaces where honest dialogue leads to meaningful change. Through executive coaching, leadership development, and strategic advising, she equips leaders to grow with confidence, navigate complexity, and stay grounded in purpose.

Erica’s coaching supports individuals through career transitions, leadership challenges, and identity exploration, grounded in Gestalt theory, positive psychology, and inclusive practices. Through The Sweet Life Collective, she invites people to build the strength and resilience to navigate life’s challenges and to savor all the sweetness along the way.

Erica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Ursuline College and a Master’s degree in Psychology with a certification in Diversity Management from Cleveland State University. She is a Gestalt trained and Board Certified Coach.
