How to apply to CBB

CBB Session Day Photos

You must commit to attending all sessions.
CBB is a 10-month program that includes a two-day opening retreat, five full-day sessions and occasional Leadership Action Project small-group meetings. Class of 2018 program dates.

There is a financial commitment.
Tuition for the Class of 2018 is $3,300. Each participant is required to contribute a minimum of $300 personally; the individual, an employer or other source may pay the balance.

Financial assistance is available.
Partial scholarships are available, and CLC will work with successful applicants to ensure tuition is not a barrier. Scholarships are determined via a separate application that will be available on the same dates as the program application.

There is an application fee.
Applicants must pay the $25 non-refundable application fee. Application fee can be paid below or via check and dropped off or mailed to:

Attn: Cleveland Bridge Builders
Cleveland Leadership Center
1375 East Ninth Street, Suite 2430
Cleveland, OH 44114

This is a selective application process.
Participants are chosen through a blind selection process. A volunteer alumni panel reviews all submissions and scores applicants on problem-solving skills, commitment to community, demonstrated leadership abilities and interpersonal skills.

The application includes four short answer questions, an overview of your civic engagement involvement and two recommendations (which must be completed on the online application - no letters will be accepted).

Program and scholarship applications for the Class of 2018 are now closed.

Applications for the Class of 2019 will open in early 2018.
