Vice President of On-Air Talent Strategy, TEGNA

Adam Miller is currently the Vice President of On-Air Talent Strategy for TEGNA’s 64 television stations around the country, including WKYC Studios in Cleveland. For the past five years, Adam has served as the Director of Content at Channel 3 News where he’s managed the strategy, vision and hiring for all broadcast and digital news operations at the NBC affiliate in Northeast Ohio. In addition to leading a newsroom of one hundred employees, Miller has grown the share of market year-over- year for the 6am and 11pm newscasts in the A25-54 demo.

He was previously a Senior Producer at NBC’s TODAY Show, where he was responsible for programming, launching and developing series and content for the fourth hour with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. During his time at TODAY, the show won three Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Morning Program. Miller has traveled from Beijing to London – covering everything from the 2008 Summer Olympic Games to the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. As a producer at the show, Miller has reported on some of the biggest news events in recent history – including the Boston Marathon bombings, the miracle at the Chilean mine, the devastating 2010 Haiti earthquake and Hurricane Sandy.

Miller earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism at Northwestern University.

Adam currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Cleveland Jewish News, The Temple Tifereth-Israel & The Gathering Place. He resides in Orange Village with his wife and four daughters.
