Whitt Butler (LC 2016) has been named Managing Partner of Ernst & Young’s Akron Office. According to a Crain’s Cleveland Business article, “In Akron, where EY has about 100 people, Butler succeeds Jerry Gootee, who has run that office since 2016.” Butler will begin his new role effective July 1, 2018, which is the start of the firm’s next fiscal year.
