Cleveland READS Parade and Victory Bash

Get ready Cleveland, the moment you’ve been waiting for all year is finally here—it’s time to celebrate your epic reading accomplishments at the Cleveland READS Parade and Victory Bash!

On December 2, the party kicks off at 1 p.m. sharp with an action-packed parade from the Main Library to City Hall featuring Cleveland READS partners and musicians bringing the celebratory vibes.

Then at 1:30 p.m., brace yourself as Library Director Felton Thomas, Jr. and Mayor Justin M. Bibb announce the grand total of minutes and books read from the year-long Cleveland READS Challenge. How high will the numbers go? Be there and find out!

After the big reveal, the party commences from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Cleveland Public Auditorium. We’re talking a full-blown bash with entertainment galore. Outside, enjoy free food from an array of food trucks and take a ride on a trackless train while watching a block of ice transform into a beautiful work of art. Inside, heart-pumping activities like roller skating, bumper cars, and an epic bouncy house await, along with upbeat music, mountains of fresh produce, cool prizes, and, of course, all the free books you can carry!
