Karamu House presents Red Summer

Karamu House’s 2022/23 mainstage season continues with the original production of RED SUMMER from February 24 – March 5, 2023, in the Cleveland Foundation Jelliffe Theatre, located at 2355 East 89th Street, Cleveland, OH 44114. Conceived by Tony F. Sias, written by Nina Domingue, and co-directed by Sias and Domingue, RED SUMMER deals with the summer of 1919 when Black soldiers returned from war hoping for a homecoming, but instead were welcomed with racial terror.
