The film “From Mopping the Floors to Making the Cakes,” (which will be screened at CIFF47) is the story of Hough Bakery and the ascendance of Archie Garner through the business, and his journey through racism, to become the current owner of the single remaining store of the popular Cleveland bakery, now known as Archie’s Hough Bakeries.
Join Leadership Cleveland classmates from across the years for an exclusive LC-only screening of the film followed by a conversation with Archie and film director Angelo Merendino, moderated by Dee Perry, retired WCPN/ideastream broadcaster.
