No Ceiling | Summer Education & Event Series For Young Professionals #DiverseCityCLE

Party with a Purpose

Live music, refreshments, and thought-provoking conversations. That’s what young professionals will experience this summer at Main Library in downtown Cleveland. We’re launching a new outdoor series called No Ceiling on the last Friday of the month starting May 27 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. From May to September, young professionals will meet up in the Eastman Reading Garden for networking and engaging deep-dive discussions about mental health, social justice, culture, and more.

No registration or tickets are required. Events take place rain or shine on the last Friday of each month from May through September. In case of inclement weather, we’ll head indoors to the Indoor Reading Garden on the first floor of the Louis Stokes Wing.

Mental Health & Music

A deep dive discussion around mental health concerns in Cleveland, including stigma, statistics, and testimonials. Guest presenter: Archie Green, rapper, and producer from Cleveland.

Gelise L. Thomas is the Assistant Director of Strategic DEI & Health Disparities at Case Western Reserve.

Archie Green – Panelist

Archie Green is the Founder and CEO of Peel Dem Layers Back. Archie will also perform at this event.

Courtney Hauser – Panelist

Courtney Hauser is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor – LPC, and author of From Victim to Survivor.

Dr. Molly McVoy – Panelist

Dr. Molly McVoy is an Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and Program Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UH Cleveland Medical Center.
