Sandra Morgan
Mayor, City of East Cleveland

Sandra Morgan currently serves as the Mayor of the city of East Cleveland, Ohio, as the first woman to be elected to the office in the city’s history.
Over the past several decades, Morgan has served in a variety of leadership positions; most recently as External Affairs and Communications Director at Kent State University. She has served as Regional Manager for Europe, Middle East, and Africa at World Trade Center Cleveland.
Her work with the international business community led to Sandra being appointed Honorary Consul for the United Kingdom in the State of Ohio, a role she held for 23 years. As such, she promoted and facilitated bi-lateral trade and investment between Ohio and the United Kingdom. In 2023 Morgan was appointed as an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, a chivalric honor bestowed by King Charles III for service to Crown and Country.
She is currently a board member of the US Global Leadership Coalition in Washington DC, Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA), and a member of the Ohio Order of Commadores, a business advisory council to Governor Dewine.
