Leon Bibb (LC 1986) and Denise Polverine (LC 2008, CBB 2006) will be honored by The Press Club of Cleveland at their annual Hall of Fame induction banquet on November 1, 2018.
Leon Bibb, a 1999 Hall of Fame inductee, will receive the Chuck Heaton Award in recognition of his community involvement and journalistic excellence. After retiring from his role of anchor/reporter in 2017, Bibb recently returned to WKYC to provide commentary and stories on life here in Northeast Ohio.
Denise Polverine will be inducted into the Hall of Fame as a member of the 2018 class. Polverine is currently the director of digital strategy and content at WKYC-TV. She previously served as director of digital operations for the Northeast Ohio Media Group and editor-in-chief at cleveland.com.
