Every year, each participant in Cleveland Bridge Builders makes a vision stand. The Vision Stand calls each class member to present in front of his/her fellow class members and, in ninety seconds or less, speak the vision he/she has for the work he/she wants to do in Greater Cleveland/Northeast Ohio.
Last year, Samantha Peddicord (CBB 2017) presented her vision for a sustainable safety forces refugee 101-type awareness training program. Now a reality, the program helps officers better understand the barriers and fears refugees experience regarding U.S. safety forces and how to help overcome them.
The training is open to any Cleveland Police Department officer who wishes to participate.
