The Gathering Place Race for the Place 2026

Race for the Place is The Gathering Place’s annual community walk/run supporting free cancer support programs for individuals and families facing cancer. Held on National Cancer Survivors Day, the event includes a 5K run, 1-mile walk, cancer survivor ceremony, celebration village, and family-friendly activities. Participants of all ages are welcome to walk, run, or show support. Proceeds ensure that The Gathering Place can continue providing free programs focused on emotional support, education, and wellness for people touched by cancer.
