Applications for Accelerate 2018: Citizens Make Change, presented in partnership with Citizens’ Bank, are open through December 4, 2017. Any individual in Northeast Ohio who has an idea to improve the community can submit an application. Twenty-five, five presenters in five categories, will be selected to pitch their idea at the event. The winner of each category wins moves on to pitch in the finalist competition for a chance to win the $5,000 grand prize – each of the four runners-up each take home $2,000 – to help them implement their idea.

Unfortunately, applications for 2018 are closed and the 25 presenters have already been selected. We’ll be announcing them on Monday. Applications for 2019 will open in late fall.
