Debbi Perkul (LC2 2013, LC 2012) was recently named Executive Director of Workforce Partnerships for Workforce Connect Manufacturing – a manufacturing sector partnership between MAGNET and Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP).
According to a GCP news release, “A true public-private partnership, Workforce Connect Manufacturing is devoted to helping the County’s 1,800 manufacturing companies and more than 72,000 workers identify sustainable workforce development solutions. Consisting of manufacturing CEOs, educational institutions such as Cuyahoga Community College and the leadership of numerous nonprofits – Towards Employment, Manufacturing Works, and OhioMeansJobs, to name just a few – Workforce Connect Manufacturing will look at both short-term and long-term solutions to increase the talent pipeline, investing in existing programs and launching new initiatives where necessary.”
