Join Dr. Acton for a discussion on her time as director of the Ohio Department of Health and how she ended up in the cross hairs of history, as well as what public health is and why it matters to all of us. She’ll also delve into three leadership concepts: brutal honesty, vulnerability, and empowerment, plus the underlying concept of “own it.”

Dr. Acton will conclude with lessons learned and share thoughts for emerging as a community (specifically Cleveland, and writ large), as well as our current inflection point and why she sees tremendous opportunity from the disruptions – a future full of challenges, but also a time for healing and hope.
