Scott Simon (LC 2023, CBB 2001) will receive the 2023 Maimonides Award for outstanding community service at the ORT America- Ohio Region’s 52nd Annual Brunch on Sunday, October 29, 2023.
In a press release announcing the award, Todd Gurney, president of the ORT Ohio Region shared, “Scott is most deserving of this prestigious award because of his relentless and dynamic devotion to ORT’s mission of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world). Scott’s history of involvement and leadership in myriad charitable organizations speaks for itself, but his affinity for helping individuals on a personal level deserves special recognition.”
