Susie Barragate (CBB 2013) has been named to succeed Bob Comben as President and CEO of Vocational Guidance Services (VGS). Barragate will assume the title of President in September and will add CEO to her title when Comben officially retires at the end of the year.
In a quote in Crain’s Cleveland Business, VGS Board Chairman, Joe DuBois shared, “The board undertook an extensive hyper-regional search for the right successor. After our first cut, we still had 90 candidates to consider. Susie stood out to us, not only because of her extensive knowledge of the organization, but because we were impressed by her strategic vision and dedication to our mission.”
