CLC’s efforts to grow CLE’s population highlighted by Cleveland.com

Attracting and retaining young professionals has been a long-standing problem for Northeast Ohio. The 2019 cohort of LC2 Fellows wanted to change that and worked to create partnerships aimed at getting young leaders of the future committed to Cleveland today. Their class year has concluded but their work is being carried forward as CLC seeks philanthropic and corporate support to launch a pilot initiative to grow Cleveland’s population. In a recent The Plain Dealer article, CLC president and CEO Marianne Crosley shared, “There is no one in this city who wakes up every single day worrying about the issue.” … “Other cities that we’ve looked at have teams of people making certain that when it comes to the talent race and the population race, they would be ahead.”
